What makes your company an attractive employer for the job seekers?

Siza sets the trend for a new breed of pharmaceutical companies, who would be proud to be a
national enterprise. We respect the continuing development in R&D taking place in the great
centers of learning of the developed world and we welcome the transfer of technology to our
country. We are offering excellent working environment along with competitive fringe benefits

What is your strategy on work-life balance and how do you achieve this balance yourself?

We make sure people are not pushed hard on their job so as to affect their personal lives
negatively. Our HR offers advisory/counseling in helping our colleagues manage this balance.
We have no late sitting policy at all. Healthcare sciences have proved that the maximum
working stamina of an employee is not more than 8 hours.

Do you believe that Pakistani universities are creating an effective talent pool and what is
your companys strategy to attract the best talent in Pakistan?

Yes, I do believe that Pakistani universities are creating an effective talent. However, the market
demand is not only a degree obtained from these universities. Market requires people who have
got high levels of confidence, flawless communication and well versed analytical skills.

What are, in your views, the basic principles of success in a professional life?

The one who ask questions doesnt loose his way. You need to be curious and observant about
the latest trends going on in the market to keep yourself upgraded and continuously keeping
your marketability at top.

In my opinion, employees need to be committed with their work as commitment is the most
important factor. Moreover, an application of Work Ethics should have to be prominent in the
professional attitude of employees.

How would you rate the success and importance of online recruitment firms such as
ROZEE.PK?

Online recruitment is one of the important tools of our recruitment process. This is a real time
saver and a large CV data storage while providing quality Human Resources for our posted
jobs. We are sitting in Lahore and hiring in over 200 cities of Pakistan. The recently added
enhanced versions have further made our job convenient. No doubt we have taken ROZEE as
our major platform for branding our company across Pakistan.
Tell us about your educational life?

I got my MBA (HR) from Pak Aims (1997) with distinction. I have been nominated as a Best
Scout of Multan Division and stood second in Punjab for Chief Commissioner Award. I have
won several debate competitions nationwide. During my schooling years I was nominated as a
Best Student of the year for consecutive 5 times and also served as a Secretary of Students
Council.

What are the biggest turn-offs in an interview of a job applicant?

Interviews are rare opportunities that should be taken very seriously. This is a platform to
present oneself to the best. There is no match to the experience gained in an interview you give.
The emphasis should be paid on learning from each exposure rather than casually preparing for
the interviews. A well prepared and well executed interview is always a bonus.
