PBB: Good News for Teachers

The Performance Based Bonus or PBB 2016 for teachers will be released this coming
October as announced yesterday by Secretary Leonor M. Briones.
According to Mam Cherry Villaluan Supervisor in Filipino of the Division of
Pampanga, the DepED is now preparing for the release of PBB 2016 for those who
have accomplished and submitted the RPMS 2015-2016 and all the necessary
requirements.
However, there is no particular announcement regarding the amount to be given for
the individual schools. Only the awarded as outstanding teachers will receive
automatically the amount of Php 35,000 and be promoted to one salary grade
position. These are teachers who are winners of Metro Bank and Hero ng Bayan.
Mrs. Cherry Villaluan added that teachers should ensure that quality education
service is given to students as the most important target on their RPMS.
