Notes - ANANYA was started in March 1998, by a group of

individuals concerned about the dearth of schools that provide relevant
and meaningful education for the underprivileged children in and
around Bangalore city. Even though the Indian constitution guarantees
free and compulsory education to all children up to the age of 14, there
are no schools that the poor can choose from. Either the schools are
very good, but expensive and therefore beyond the reach of the
underprivileged, or they are free but have poor physical facilities and
offer a standard curriculum which is dull and boring. Most children,
who drop out of school, do so because the schools do not cater to their
special needs. Education in such critical context has no meaning or
relevance to these children. It does not provide them with the required
skills to overcome the social traumas or the emotional and physical
hardships they face everyday.

Our long term objectives are:

To provide educational opportunities to underprivileged children so

that they can realise their dream of getting a school leaving certificate
and contributing to the development and growth of the society in
general and their families in particular.
The main purposes of the Trust are:

* To run a unique school ASK (Ananya Shikshana Kendra) that makes

learning fun, relevant and meaningful for underprivileged children
who are excluded from mainstream schools.

* To provide a platform ACT (Ananya Centre for Teachers) where

people working with such children can meet to share experiences and
ideas and create innovative teaching methods.

Notes - Founded in 1999, Dream A Dream empowers children from

vulnerable backgrounds by developing life skills while at the same
time sensitizing the community through active volunteering leading to
a non-discriminatory society where unique differences are appreciated.

Dream A Dream provides children from vulnerable backgrounds with

non-traditional educational opportunities designed to allow them to
explore, innovate and build important life skills. These life skills are
fundamental to child/youth development and to the successful
transition into adulthood and becoming fully functioning and
productive members of our society. Dream A Dream programs allow
children to develop:

Interpersonal skills including teamwork, communications,

negotiation and coping skills
Cognitive skills such as decision-making, problem solving and
critical thinking
Creativity, confidence, self-awareness and a passion for learning

Ours is a dream that started with a small group of young people

wanting to make a difference in their Bangalore communities, but has
developed into a professionally-run NGO serving over 700 children
through a strong base of volunteers.
The twelve founder members of Dream A Dream are Brinda Jacob,
Neha Shah, Vishal Talreja, Rahul Mathur, Supreeta Sampath, Pramod
Ramprasad, Sandeep Wadhwa, Rashmi Bajaj, Arjun Dugal, Shweta
Kothari, Vipul Chhabria & Vishwa Prasad.

Money: Parikrma runs four schools which give underprivileged kids

quality English-medium school education. A donation can go to their
invest in a child programme, which focuses on the requirements of
one child. Half a days salary as part of their Change Your World
initiative can also be paid for.

Time: People can help children with remedial classes or engage with
them in outdoor activities such as basketball and swimming, read
stories to them, or take them to the planetarium.

Notes - We introduce ourselves as Non Government Organization

(NGO) registered vide Registration No.872:1993-94 dated 11.1.1994
in the name of RAO EDUCATION SOCIETY. The organization is
having vast experience from last 10 years involving in rural education
in India. We are conducting so many project like Free Computer
Education in rural villages (the institute named as "SOFT CREATORS
and Prashanth Computers under Rao Education Society) , blood
donation camps, Free eye camps and health camps, Free eye surgery,
environment training , primary and secondary education, rain water
harvesting, Soil Conservation , Awareness about Sanitation in the
villages, Drip irrigation, Yoga training, values and culture, science and
technology etc., Basically our motto is to serve rural remote villages
where the people is below poverty and the education is not even 10%
and a family who earns below Rs.3000/- Per month. We have very
good management and staff to conduct the projects, but we have no
funds source to conduct the projects. Where ever we get the small
amount of donation which is not sufficient for traveling expenses and
our Government of India will sanction the budget according to their
calculation which they calculated 20 years ago. What ever we get from
Government is not sufficient to full fill the projects. We can give you
the details about our NGO and projects details further if it is required
by you. We humbly request you to help financially to serve the poor
and remote villages in India. Note: We will submit all related
documents as per your requirement
