a. Locate on a world and regional political-physical map: the Sahara,
Sahel, savanna, tropical rain forest, Congo River, Niger River, Nile
River, Lake Tanganyika, Lake Victoria, Atlas Mountains, and Kalahari
Desert.
b. Locate on a world and regional political-physical map the countries of
Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire), Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, South
Africa, Sudan, and South Sudan.

locations, masses, information, and traditions of a given country or
region.

Objective Students will use the Speed Geography app to learn more
about their country of choice and apply that to a powerpoint
presentation of what they have learned about that country.
Objective Students will use the Speed Geography app to see what
country interests them the most and use the knowledge from that
country to compare the language and culture to other countries.
Objective Students will develop their use of technology with the
information they gain off the app and apply it to the presentation they
prepare.
