Convention Committee for Pacific Cascade Region of Narcotics
Anonymous. 2001 to 2005
Served as the chair of Hotels and Hospitality for the committee.
Negotiated with the hotel and the convention center for the rooms
and services needed for the 350 people who were going to be
attending.
Organized and scheduled workshops, including scheduled breakout
sessions, large and small group discussions,
Acted as liaison to the speakers, including making their travel and
hotel arrangements.
Worked with vendors and the convention center to ensure proper
placement of tables and that vendors had everything they needed to
be successful.
Coordinated with the other chairs to organize fund raising events to
be held during the entire four years of service on the committee.
Organized dances, chili feeds, car washes, and raffles for
fundraising.
Purchased and maintained merchandise to sell at all events and the
convention while keeping accurate and current information on all
