Action Reflection in Faith Action (ARFA)

Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded. -2
Chronicles 15:7
I was assigned at Tuguegarao North Central School for my duty.I had an amazing and
fun experience out there.I met different people with different attitudes. On our first day duty our CI gave
an instruction and clarifications on the activity for the rest of our duty ,she even showed us the materials
used by the previous group to have an idea what might gonna be the most needed one. At first I feel
anxious because I dont know what gonna happen in our first stay in the school.Time has passed I never
expect that it will be a good experience and enjoy experience for me to teach the children with at very
young age Iam very much surprised with their fully cooperation and so with the knowledge they
possess. This activity is worth remembering because it reminds me when im still a small jolly kid it was
like going back to my very young age We are also checking the blood pressure of the school teachers
some of them are always want to monitor their blood pressure but some are refused it. It is very fulfilling
to end the day thinking all the activities you had done. I learned so many things in our experience at
school nursing. I learned to be more patient and the difference of dealing with children from adults. And I
started to realize that being a nurse really is a challenging role.
According to the verse from -2 Chronicles 15:7Be ye strong therefore, and let not your
hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded. it tells that we should always carry on strength and
courage with everything we do. As a nursing student it is part of the profession that I chose to help and
serve the people. We help people wholeheartedly without asking anything in return. And as part of our
work we should always stay strong and take care of ourselves specially our hands because there are
people who are counting on us. It is our hands that we should take care because it is the way on how we
let our clients feel our care for them. We must always keep in mind that the Lord is always with us and He
will reward those who serve His people As my journey being a student nurse continues I know that my
experiences will be added more and my knowledge about nursing will be improved. I will learn more and
apply what I learned for the future.
