The Z1000 includes four programmable run timers

The user can modify the following parameters for
each timer that will be used:

Start time
Stop time
Day(s) of the week
Action to perform while the timer is active
Reference source to use while the timer is active
If Sequence Timers overlap, timer 1 has the highest
priority and timer 4 has the lowest priority

Torque Detection

Motor Preheat

The Z1000 can be set up to warn of load changes that may

affect application effectiveness or endanger equipment
coupled to the motor
Torque Detection

A difference between motor temperature and ambient

temperature can cause condensation to form inside the
motor
This condensation can lead to premature motor failure
Program a Digital Input to trigger motor preheat
The Z1000 will inject DC current into the motor windings
when the following is true:

Can sense loss of load or jammed equipment by

monitoring the motors torque demand.
User can determine how the Drive responds to abnormal
torque demands (turn on an output, fault the Drive, etc.).

Frequency Reference Loss Detection

Carrier Frequency Decreases at overload

When frequency reference is lost due to the disconnection

of the cable, the drive can detect frequency reference
loss and continues running is possible

Carrier frequency automatically decreased during overload

condition and increased rated current level to avoid
overload fault(OL2).
