Eid ul Fitr is an Islamic festival that is joyously celebrated
by Muslims all over the world to mark the completion of
the holy month of fasting. Eid is an occasion of joy,
thanksgiving and generosity.

The month of Ramadan is that in which the Qur'an
was revealed, a guidance for people and clear proofs of
the guidance and the Criterion (between right and
wrong) [Quran 2:185]
O you who believe!

As5 the Day of Eid Approaches...
Zakat al Fitr, the end-of-Ramadan charity becomes
due as the month of Ramadan draws to a close.

The Messenger of Allah enjoined Zakat-ul-Fitr on those who
fast to shield them from any indecent act or speech, and for the
purpose of providing food for the needy. It is accepted as Zakah
for the one who pays it before the Eid prayer, and it is sadaqah
for the one who pays it after the prayer. [Sunan Abu Dawud]
