Assignment 3

1. Design a planar linkage mechanism for suturing (sewing) wound on human skin.
2. The depth of suturing should be identified according to medical standards.
3. Needle can be arbitrary shape. As an option standard medical needle might be used, for example
swaged needle.
4. String (suture) should be standard size, and placed near or inside mechanism
5. The assignment should be done in SolidWorks using Sketch and Blocks. Submit SLDPRT file only.
6. One actuator should be used (for crank).
