Objective of Event:
In the era of knowledge based economy, innovation is crucial for
Malaysia to improve the global competitiveness. Research and
development (R&D) and technological innovations are essential
for local industries to grow and mature. And with Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education,
technological development can be further upgraded to global
standard.
However, a lot of STEM jobs arent filled in Malaysia. The reason is
because students pursuing these fields have decreased
significantly since the past 10 years.
So, how does our nation go about creating these innovators and
geniuses that are passionate about math and science? In the same
time, as university students who want to make a change, what can
we do?
We start our ground work by targeting youths.
The objective of our event is to spark the publics interest in STEM.
We believe by showing science projects, exhibitions and giving
them the opportunity to do hands-on work, we can increase their
passion in STEM.
Our targeted participants for this event are high school students,
non-science background university students and the public.

ESF17 Exhibition and Career Fair

ESF17 Exhibition and Career Fair are the main
events in ESF17. The exhibition will be held from 20/2/17
to 21/2/17. The Career Fair will be held on 22/2/17. Venue
is at UTAR Sungai Long Campus, MPH.
The objective of the exhibition is to an insight to the
students in STEM field by displaying research projects,
innovative products and new technologies.
The exhibition acts as a platform for companies
to display and promote their products. It might also
provide marketing opportunity as companies show
their current projects or products to the public.
Besides, for the Exhibition, we will be giving out the
"Most Impressive Booth" award. Upon entering the hall,
visitors will given a paper to vote for the exhibitor
which they think is the most impressive. The winner
goes to the exhibitor with the highest vote.

Exhibition Booth Information

"Most Impressive Booth" Competition

We will be having the "Most Impressive
Booth" Competition on the exhibition days. The
purpose of the competition is to ensure companies
involvement not just on the exhibition side but also
in creating a moment of competitiveness between
participating companies. The competition will be
judged on the decorations, products displayed, and
creativity. Not only that, companies will be able to
gain feedbacks and comments from the students and
the public through this competition. The winners
will be announced based on voting.

All companies will be charged RM265 except for sponsoring
companies

Career Fair Booth Information

How To Register?
To register, please fill in the Registration Form as
attached and complete the payment via cheque or
internet transfer within 14 days after the issued of
invitation letter.
Cancellation is NOT ALLOWED from 16th January 2017
onwards.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the event.
