Nine positive comments about school organisation were submitted:


All three of my children have flourished in the fabulous learning environment you provide at Wilby
Well done to all the staff amazing work-keep up the good work
Im thrilled with the changes at Wilby school and look forward to the following months
Very impressed with the communications received from the school and school governors either relative to the day to day running of the school and to
the recent appointment of our headteacher.
It has been good to see the children getting on with their homework and being genuinely interested in the subjects concerned
Communication is excellent-we like the newsletter
Wilby school treats each child as individuals. Well thought out and appropriate plans enable children to learn to their best potential
The feeling of inclusiveness cannot be underestimated.
Improvement in reading level and happier with the amount of positive reinforcement pupils receive

Four comments that request improvement in school organisation were submitted:


Homework set could be more demanding in terms of the tasks and amount set x1
Request for cleaner drinking cups at lunchtimes x1
Request for communication to be improved by giving more advanced warning of events and more information on progress x1
Child not fully engaged in standard tasks-not sure why this is x1

Issues raised by the survey:


Six people dont know if the school deals effectively with bullying
3 people dont feel the school deals effectively with bullying.
Although 77.5% of people surveyed feel the school deals effectively with bullying we still need to ensure that all parents/ carers have a clear
understanding of what is meant by bullying and that our methods of dealing with bullying are well understood by everyone.
Two people believe that behaviour at the school can be improved.
One parent would like homework to be more carefully matched to their childs ability.
School action 8.11.16:
The school has written to invite any parents who recorded concerns about behaviour or bullying to an open discussion to listen to concerns and develop
a subsequent action plan if needed. Parents have been reminded that they can access behaviour and bullying policies on our web-site
