Raised 7.5 million dollars in a 7 million dollar Capital


Campaign with 2 million earmarked for endowment.

Secured foundation grants of; 3.2 million dollars and one million dollars
for construction projects, 414,000 dollars for salary, equipment and
supplies related to camp promotion and 620,000 dollars of endowment
for annual camp program equipment purchases.

Increased Endowment Fund from 1.4 million dollars in 1997 to over 9


million dollars in 2016.

Supervised 8.9 million dollars of construction at council camp


including Wastewater Treatment Plant and 21,000 square foot training
center.

Orchestrated two successful mergers with neighboring Councils


expanding council territory from 16 counties to 39 counties.

One of only 22 councils (out of 94) in the Southern Region to achieve a


growth in traditional membership from 2003 to 2011. Ranked 3rd in that
region in number of traditional youth increase during that period.

Increased summer camp attendance by 92% over a 4 year period (858 in


2008 to 1,525 in 2012,) with innovative promotion plan, new web site
and social media presence.

Increased number of Quality Districts from three in 1991 to 15 in 1996.

Increased net Popcorn Sale revenue 190% over 5 years from $225,000
in 1991 to $651,901 in 1996, becoming the largest council Popcorn
Sale in the nation.

Increased enrollment in one-night School Night for Scouting program in


each of five consecutive years. From 7,641 in 1992 to 10,208 in 1996.

Created Partners In Youth Crime Prevention program in


Dallas, Texas where Police officers served as Leaders for 25 new Cub
Scout Packs and 8 new Boy Scout Troops serving over 800 at-risk youth
in high crime neighborhoods. Secured a multi-year $175,000 foundation
grant for this program. Reported in BSA 1997 Annual Report, Scouting
Magazine and Boys Life.

Field Director, Dallas, Texas - (May 1990 to April 1992)

Increased FOS revenue in service area by 75% in my two years as Field


Director achieving 111% of goal.

Supervised 11 executives serving 7 districts with 465 units


and 15,064 youth members.
