The Womb Secret
Indah, Michaels travel agent manager, is admitted at Local teaching hospital due
to suspicion of mild head trauma and vaginal bleeding. A few moment after being
treated with ER resident, it is confirmed from USG and pregnancy test that Indah
has been in her 3 months pregnancy. She does not look happy as usual mother
should be, and even she looked anxious, afraid of being known by her parents since
she has been hiding the relationship with Michael for last 9 month from her parents.
She is afraid that her parent would heavily upset and angry because her mother has
never agreed that Indah had relationship with man who had different nationality and
religion. Though has been preparing carefully to provide the pregnancy information
to Indah privately, the hard sound of the resident and the thin curtain in
Emergency Room allowed Indahs mother to hear the medical information
given. The information leakage has made Indahs Mother abruptly insult the
resident. Indahs mother cried to the resident that the result was completely wrong
because Indah is not married yet and nor being known to have relationship with any
man. After such a hard talk, Indahs mother could accept the fact and become
anger to Indah. She insisted Indah to accept an abortion plan. Michael
doesnt want Indah to perform an abortion unless the baby is not his baby. He
asked Indah to perform DNA test, and promised that Indah would be married as
second wife and support all financial need for the baby including home and
household facility. Indahs head is suddenly felt dizzy that she should have a
stance of two difficult choices, parent or Michael.
