When the news hit on Tuesday that the Trump campaign has washed its hands of fundraising efforts two weeks before the election, the humiliation of the traditional
Republican Party at the hands of Donald Trump was all but complete.
His refusal to help fill party coffers just as the last push for voters commenceswhich is
an expensive process and requires cash on handis the perfect capper to 16 months in
which Trump has gleefully terrorized weak-kneed Republican officials, forced them to
comply with his wishes and then screwed them.
And its probably not the capper, not really; with 12 days to go until the election, who
knows what final blows Trump will deliver to the kneecaps of Republican National
Chairman Reince Priebus and all the elected Republican officials who have deliberately
been doing the yes, I endorsed you but I dont really like you two-step? You cant put
the genie back in the bottle.
Loyalty is a one-way street in Trump World. Priebus has likely sacrificed his future being
loyal to Trump in the present, since the candidate to whom he has sworn his allegiance
is now effectively turning on the Republican Partys efforts to elect candidates which
is Priebus primary responsibility as RNC chair. He has been a happy camper for six
months now. But hes been getting on many peoples nerves lately.

El martes, al llegarnos la mala noticia de que la campaa de Trump se haba

desentendido de las actividades de recaudacin de fondos, dos semanas antes de
celebrarse los comicios, la humillacin del Partido Republicano a manos de aquel casi
se consum.
Su negativa a llenar las arcas del partido, justo antes de comenzar la recta final por
atraer votantes, proceso oneroso que exige efectivo en caja, constituye el remate a los
diecisis meses en los cuales un jubiloso Trump ha intimidado y hecho postrarse a
endebles correligionarios ante sus deseos, y luego los ha arruinado.
Y si no es el remate, que no lo es; a menos de doce das de los comicios, qu otros
golpes asestar dicho personaje a Reince Priebus, jefe del Comit Nacional
Republicano, y a todos los funcionarios electos del partido quienes con gusto le han
seguido el doble jueguito de Te apoyo, pero en el fondo no me agradas? Como que
no hay marcha atrs.
A Trump solo le interesa recibir lealtad, no darla. Priebus casi con certeza ha
sacrificado su porvenir al ser leal a Trump en este momento, dado que al candidato a
quien ha jurado lealtad est, en efecto, oponindose a las iniciativas del Partido
Republicano para elegir candidatos, que es el mandato supremo de Priebus como
jerarca del Comit Nacional. Priebus ha sabido llevar la fiesta los ltimos seis meses,
pero ya comenz a sacar de quicio a mucha gente.
