welcome you to our Cabin Crew Screening Process for 2016.

In the next few pages you will find all the necessary details to apply for a
position as a cabin crew for our prestigious aviation company. Please follow
the procedure, collect all the necessary papers and email them to us.

What does an Oman Air Cabin Crew do?

Assist the commander in the maintenance of proper standard of professional

expertise, crew discipline, conduct and personal appearance of all flight crew
personnel.

Inform and educate passengers on emergency and safety procedures to ensure

passenger safety during all phases of the flight.

Follow the procedures outlined in the safety manuals during any emergency to
ensure safety of all personnel.

Perform all duties assigned by the Senior Officer - Cabin Crew related to cabin
safety and daily operations to ensure adherence to regulations outlined in the
operations manual.

Provide safe and efficient in-flight service to passengers on board.

Responsible for ensuring safety on board by ensuring all passengers are wearing
seat belts, all window covers are open, all doors locked and all seats are
upright.

Responsible for providing first aid support to passengers on board during

emergency situations.

Conduct necessary checks before flight to ensure cleanliness of cabin and

passenger toilets, all catering ordered is loaded in satisfactory condition, no
heavy objects are placed in the overhead bins and all escape exists are
unobstructed and clearly visible to passengers.

Brief passengers in Arabic and English prior to flight including all requisite
information outlined in the operations manual to compliance to regulations.

Attend to special attention passengers as directed by Senior Officer - Cabin

Crew and ensure all passengers comply with the restrictions on smoking and
use of seat belts and other safety precautions during flight.

following documents:

1) Copy of resume (in the next pages you will find the format that we require you
to fill in specifically please do not send any other format and instructions on
how to fill it)
2) Passport Copy
3) Passport size photo in blue background (if you make it to the open day, you will
need to have 6 passport size photos)
4) Full length color photograph (formal or smart casual without head scarf)
5) Copy of birth certificate
6) Copy of higher secondary certificate in English
7) Copy of any other educational certificates

What will happen next?

All collected resumes will be screened and if our recruitment team thinks that you
have what it takes, you will be shortlisted and will receive an email inviting you to
the Oman Air Open Day with the details of venue, date and time.
During the Oman Air Open Day a specialized Team your grooming will be assessed and
you will be interviewed. During the Open Day, there will be a discussion where all your

answers regarding training, living and working conditions, including salaries,

allowances and flying bonuses, in Oman will be answered.
