GOOD MORNING, YOUR HONOR, I am Alberto Jose B.

Bundalian going to present the last

argument for the APPLICANT.
LET US START WITH THE FIRST POINT: MARRYING YOUNG IS PROTECTIVE OF
BREAST CANCER.
Studies show that ESTROGEN is the culprit of cancer. Estrogen FEEDS cancer cells.
Who has estrogen? Reproductive age women, or women who already had and has
menstrual cycle. Studies show that cutting the estrogen levels would then lower the risk
of having breast cancer.
The question is, how do we cut the estrogen. We cut off the estrogen by pregnancy.
With the commencement of pregnancy, estrogen WHICH IS ENUMERATED IN THE
PAGES PROVIDED IN OUR MEMORIAL. With pregnancy, estrogen, which feeds
cancer cells, is cut off, for at least nine months.
Article II, Section 15 states that Article 2 Section 15 which states that the state shall protect
and promote the right to health of the people and instill health consciousness among them. By
promoting earlier marriage, we also promote the protection of the mother.
This is so because the Family Code, Article I states that Marriage is a special contract of
permanent union between man and woman entered in accordance with law for the establishment
of conjugal and family life. In the case of Choi Ming Chi, it was held that procreation is an
essential marital duty.
If we lower the marital age, then we also the lower the age of procreation. And again, as stated in
the peer reviewed scientific journals, procreation entails pregnancy. Pregnancy stops estrogen.
Stopping estrogen is a way of fighting cancer because estrogen is food of cancer cells.
Thus, lowering the marrying age will instill health consciousness and promote the health of the
people
LET US MOVE ON TO OUR NEXT POINT: MARRYING YOUNG PREVENTS SEXUALLY
TRANSMITTED DISEASE SUCH AS HIV AND AIDS
Again, this would be in consonance with Article II, Section 15 which protect and promote the
right of the people and instill health consciousness. Marrying early would bind them to only one
sexual partner. Marriage binds people to a single sexual partner because the Family Code, holds
that marriage is a permanent union between man and woman.
It is a common medical knowledge that sexually transmitted disease stems from MULTIPLE
SEXUAL PARTNERS. Marriage is a RESTRICTION to having multiple sexual partners. Thus,
marrying young is protective of fatal diseases such as HIV and AIDS, which either has expensive
cure (as in the case of HIV), or no cure at all (AIDS).
WITH THE FINAL POINT, I AM GOING TO PRESENT TO YOU A PEER-REVIEWED

JOURNAL WHICH SHALL TELL YOU, THAT CONTRARY TO THE OPINION THAT
LOW MATERNAL AGE GIVES RISE TO INCREASE MATERNAL AND FETAL DEATH
AND MORBIDITY, THIS JOURNAL HOLDS THAT THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT
DIFFERENCE IN THE MORTALITY AND MORBIDITY BETWEEN EARLY PREGNANCY
AND LATE PREGNANCY
Allowing the marriage at an early such as 14 and 16 years of age does not increase
fetal and maternal death. The common erroneous notion that if you have children at an
early aggravates the risk of increased morbidity and mortality is negated by the findings
of this peer reviewed journal which actually states that maternal age does not play a
role in such cases.
Literature on maternal mortality, as well as advocacy efforts, has often stressed
excessive risk among adolescent women. The most common assertion is that girls age
15-19 are twice as loikley to die from childbirth as women in their twenties, while those
under 15 are ficve times as likely to die. However, our extensive review of the literature
found very limited empirical support for excessive risk of this magnitude among women
age 15-19. The risk of death per birth for women age 15-19 is just 28 higher than
among women age-20-24. The greatest number of maternal death occurs at age 25-29.
The highest MM rate comes at age 30-34. The highest risk per birth, MMR, occurs at
ages above 40. These findings indicate that special emphases heretofore on adolescent
maternal mortality in advocacy and programming have been somewhat overstated.
Internationally, the campaign to reduce the absolute numbers of deaths must focus
heavily upon the 25-29 group and the two adjoining age groups.

This is beneficial for it lowers breast cancer
With that I end my presentation. I f this court has no futher need of my assistance I
shall now cede the floor to the applicant for its rebuttal.
