Below are the guidelines for HTML5 ads. If you have HTML5 ads built following the guidelines
below, please reach out to your Account Manager or the Customer Delight team to help upload
your ads as you currently are not able to do so directly through the dashboard.
General requirements

Each individual ad must be its own zip file containing all code and assets
(including public, commonly used JavaScript libraries) that make up the
HTML5 ad.
All asset links must correctly reference the file locations via their paths.
All assets must be loaded from a secure connection (https).
Zip file must contain all files referenced from the HTML doc.
No cross-domain scripting: code references to external domains are not

allowed.
No local storage or session storage libraries allowed.
Must be a single, well-structured, and complete HTML document at the root

Declare the clickTag variable

o Example: <script type='text/javascript'>var clickTag
='http://www.adroll.com';</script>
o This clickTag variable must be passed as a parameter to any
window.open event inside the ad, usually assigned to the JavaScript
onclick event of a div element: <div id="clickArea" style="width:
300px; height: 250px"

<meta> tags must be used to identify the size of the ad:

o Example: <meta name=ad.size content= width=300,
height=250>

in designing a visual structure (fonts, line spacing, layout, etc.) of an electronic document
but in formulating its logical structure. The logical structure permits 'intelligent'
information processing that is a prerequisite for the information's organization,
indexation, communication, and discovery on the web. HTML supports inclusion of
audio, video, and animation into an electronic document through helper software such as

Tip: This tag is not deprecated, but it is possible to achieve richer effect with CSS.
