As Director of Product Development, Music Services for Market America | Shop.com, follow agile project management and product development principles in strategic planning and production of innovative digital music platform, integrating music discovery and artist/fan interaction with digital media distribution, contextual e-commerce and event production. Launched 10 author-marketing sites for Zondervan, a major religious text publisher. Led user experience design of PDResearch.org portal for the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Other projects included: site builds and redesigns; developing marketing materials; and enhancing user interfaces. As Program Manager for the Associated Press, planned and managed development of ASAP Young Readers blog platform and AP Hosted Video streaming media player; managed production of internal webcasts. As Senior Interactive Producer for Cablevisions weekly video-on-demand New York Music Rundown, team won Communicator Award, a top industry honor. Managed pioneering product development of TVDJ, the nations first on-demand music video service and The Green Room live events locator applications for digital set-top box platform; built in collaboration with MetroTV, Funny Garbage, and MuchMusic USA. Launched TheDailyBeat.com, a companion site to a daily cable music show and one of the first music social networks. As Founder of Netmix.com, wrote business plan, compiled advisory board, and managed distributed workforce. Launched first-to-market platform broadcasting on-demand mix-show programming from worlds most soughtafter DJs. Sold company for $3.1 million and continued on as President. Managed artists, negotiated remix agreements and record deals, and partnered with Columbia Records on innovative online artist marketing.
