INT 600: Multinational Corporate Management

Course Prerequisites
Course Description
This course is an introduction to the nature of international operations and issues of management for
multinational activities, with particular emphasis on the cultural, political, economic and physical dimensions of
foreign nations.
Course Outcomes

Distinguish between the cultural, political, economic, and environmental complexities of management in
a multinational environment

Examine management issues and conflicts experienced by multinational enterprises from an operational

Office Hours/Instructor Availability
All Continuing Education instructors at all center locations will be available to students for a minimum of four
additional hours of face-to-face meeting time per term. This time is in addition to the required 20 hours of face-toface time in hybrid classes and the required 40 hours of face-to-face time in lecture classes. How the additional
meeting time is utilized is at the discretion of the instructor and may vary by course.

SNHU COCE Regional Centers Attendance and Participation

Students taking courses at the SNHU COCE Regional Centers are expected to participate in all of their classes and
to attend class on a regular basis. Students are responsible for attending class and notifying the instructor in the
case of an unavoidable absence.
Unexcused Absences:
If students fail to notify the instructor of an absence, the absence is considered to be unexcused, and penalties
may apply. After two unexcused absences the students will be deducted 5% from the final grade in the course.
Excused Absences:
Excused absences are granted by the instructor based on legitimate circumstances, hospitalization, childbirth, major accident, injury or bereavement, or involvement in sanctioned university events, etc. These excused absences
will not negatively impact a students grades or academic standing.
Participation in class is evaluated at the end of the term using the In-Class Attendance and Participation Rubric. To
review the rubric, please check the Assignments Guidelines and Rubrics folder in the Course Information area in
Late Assignments Policy
Meeting assigned due dates is critical for demonstrating progress and ensuring appropriate time for instructor
feedback on assignments. Students are expected to submit their assignments on or before the due date. Review
