Dear Sir,
With reference to your above mail and subsequent meeting for the subject job
works as desired, we are pleased to submit our evised final offer for epoxy
intemescent fireproofing works using Chartek 1709 for this project which is
designed to achieve 2 hrs fire rating for equipment saddles (4 nos). Our
offer is detailed as under:JOB SPECIFICATION :1. Supply Chartek 1709, HK-1 Mesh, Intergard 251 and Interthane 990.
2. Apply Primer Intergard 251 of 50-75micron DFT.
3. Apply 10.57 mm DFT of Chartek 1709 and HK-1 mesh onto equipments
saddles (4 nos) as per approved procedure.
4. Apply 50 75 microns of top coat, Interthane 990 onto final Chartek 1709
surface.

SWISS INTL SCOPE OF WORK:Swiss Intl scope shall be limited below:

1. Swiss Intl shall carryout the job as per above specification.
2. Swiss Intl shall provide Chartek 1709, Intergard 251, Interthane 990, HK-1
Mesh.
3. Swiss

Intl

shall

provide

all

the

equipments,

supervisors,

etc.

required

to

carryout

the

job

trained

technicians,

as

the

per

above

specifications.
4. Swiss Intl shall follow all the necessary QA/QC and safety procedures at
site and shall comply with the standard application procedures.
5. Swiss Intl shall

arrange

PDO

training,

medical

and

HSE

for

fireproofing crews.
6. Swiss Intl shall bear expenses for Omanisation.
AHECS SCOPE :AHECs scope shall be but not limited to below:
1. AHEC shall provide blasting equipment, materials, blasters etc.
2. AHEC shall perform existing coating removal by blasting (Sa2.5 with surface
profile of 50 75microns).
3. AHEC shall provide of 3-phase electricity, material storage, equipment
handling facilities, disposal of wastage etc.
4. AHEC shall provide accommodation, food, local transport and other
facilities at site.
5. AHEC shall provide erected scaffolding.

6. AHEC shall compensate for damaged (due to other trade activity )
fireproofing works.
7. AHEC shall provide required approvals.
Note: The above factors was not considered in our price.
PRICE :Our lump sum price to carry out fireproofing of 4 nos saddles of
equipment (no. V4701 and V4703) is OMR 7,900.000.

PRICE VARIATION:The above price is for the 4 nos saddles of equipment V -4703 and V 4704
and is based on the assumption of continuous hindrance free work front.
Any variation beyond the above scope shall be claimed as pro-rata basis.

TERMS OF PAYMENT :95% of the total value shall be released against progressive invoices within 30
days of receipt of invoices.
5% of the total value can be retained as retention for 12 months from the date
of completion of our scope of PFP works and which shall be released
immediately after completion of retention period.

WARRANTY :Workmanship and Product Warranty Terms shall be discussed and

agreed upon.

VALIDITY :Our offer is valid for 15 days from the date hereof.

COMMENCEMENT:To be mutually discussed and agreed upon after signing of contract.

JOB/CONTRACT ACCEPTANCE :It is mandatory to receive our official job acceptance for any contractual
obligations.

FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE :Standard Force Majeure Clause prevailing in Oman governs our offer.
INSURANCE :Our Employees are covered under Oman Workmen compensation policy
however our quotation for the subject job is based under the presumption that
you have already effected the necessary / exclusive Insurance coverage to the
Machines / Equipment / Structures, etc., for the damage that might occur
during the course of our job execution.
