NABC is the key part of the elevator pitch and addresses the value proposition using four
fundamental questions. It captures an important end-user or market need addressed by a
unique approach with compelling benefits when compared against the competition or
alternatives.
Product Innovation Idea : Auto-text Intruder and Fire Detector Device

1. Description
Need

The society now faces the alarming robbery rate everywhere and fire incidents
are increasing for the past years. Especially in the National Capital Region, fire
incidents and crime rate are high in the area. Please see the charts below:

Among the regions, NCR was the most fire-prone area in the Philippines
consistently registering the highest incidence of fire from 2010-2013.

The table above shows that National Capital Region is the second highest of
having a high crime rate in the country; including robbery, theft, homicide, and
others.

Approach

The charts above shows the need of innovative products that could provide
security and safety to the homes in the country, especially those in NCR.
The group came up with the idea to develop a multi-function product that will
raise security againts housetheives and unprecedented fire.

The company combined a smoke detector and a door manager that can detect
every time the door or window opens and every time it closes. There is an
added feature to the device which is the SMS feature, since people nowadays
are always with their phone.
Benefits

The Auto-text Intruder and Fire Detector Device is a good fit for most
households. This device includes sensors on the entry doors or windows, and

detects a smoke that could cause a fire. This type of security device will be an
excellent deterrent for any would be intruders, and at the same time to monitor
your home from fire.

these features, the customer can save a lot compared to buying the door
manager and smoke detector, separately.
