UN PRODUCTO COSMTICO:

SHAMPOO DE NOPAL
Materiales y mtodos
Para realizar de este trabajo se utiliz un
cultivo de nopal verdura (Opuntia ficusindica), dicho cultivo es producido en
forma orgnica. En la elaboracin de
ste producto, primeramente se
procedi a realizar la limpieza de la
materia prima, (nopal) asegurndose de
eliminar perfectamente las espinas y
bordes del cladodio, posteriormente se
llev a escalde a 80 C por cinco
minutos, se licua, se filtra a travs de
una manta de cielo obteniendo el
extracto. Una vez que se logra esto, se
inicia el proceso para la elaboracin:
Insumos
20 nopales (Aproximadamente 5 kg)
1.6 l de texapn
1.6 l de agua destilada
800 ml de coperlan
10 g de cido ctrico
50 g de NaCl
10 ml de formaldehdo
Procedimiento
Se limpian los 20 nopales, se cortan en
pequeas porciones y se licuan con 50 % del
agua destilada, se deja reposar el producto
por 30 minutos y posteriormente se filtra por
medio de una manta de cielo, obtenindose
aproximadamente 6 litros de extracto de nopal
o jugo.
En otro recipiente se coloca 1.6 litros de
Texapn, 1.6 l de agua donde se agrega
poco apoco coperlan agitando
constantemente, en seguida se mide el
pH que deber ser de siete en caso de
no ser siete se agregan 10 gramos de
cido ctrico (se puede utilizar tambin
vinagre, supliendo al cido ctrico), ya
corregido el pH, en un recipiente grande,
se colocan stos ingredientes y se
agrega poco a poco el jugo o extracto de
nopal agitando

En caso de que el producto quede de


consistencia muy suave, se le agrega 10 ml
de formol diluido en 200 ml de agua
caliente. Finalmente se agregan 50 g de
NaCl (o sal de mesa) y se deja reposar 12
horas.
