SBS ELASTOMERIC BITUMEN ROOFING UNDERLAYER

FOR MECHANICAL FIXING

PRACTICAL ADVANTAGES:
Exceptional properties of SBS elastomeric bitumen.
Easy absorption of substrate movements due to the mechanical fixing.
High resistance to cracking due to the elasticity of the SBS elastomeric bitumen.
High resistance to pull-off.
High resistance to puncturing (composite glass-polyester reinforcement).
Two layers, one torch-welted interface, one torch, and the equivalent of three fixings
per square meter on the main area.
Easy torching of the joint due to the fusible film on the underface.
When re-roofing, removal of the existing waterproofing system is unnecessary.
Most suitable application:
Waterproofing on steel deck roof.
Most suitable system:
Double layer waterproofing system mechanically fixed on steel deck roof:
Paradiene FM + Paradiene 30.1 AS/GS.
Other applications:
On new projects or re-roofing (without removal of the existing system): waterproofing
on steel, wood and plywood supporting decks.

Coloured gra nules finished d o u ble laye r s y s t e m ,
specifically designed to be m e ch a n i c a l ly fixed onto
m i n e ral wool thermal insulation boards being supported
by steel decking (slope > 1%).

INSTALLATION
Paradiene FM: by linear mechanical fixing at the 10 cm
wide overlap.Then the lapped joints are fully torched.
