Insert right needle into stitch as if to knit, yarn over and
pull loop through (Fig. 4a), insert left needle into loop
just worked
Band slip onto left needle
A from front to back

HEAD
Row 1: K4, increase twice, K3, increase, place marker for
nose, increase, K3, increase twice, knit across: 26 sts.

BEAR
ARM (Make 2)
With large size needles, Gold, and leaving a long end for
sewing, cast on 5sts.
LEGS
With large size needles, Gold, and leaving a long end for
sewing, cast on 5sts; with second ball of yarn, cast on 5 sts.
Row 1: Increase in each st across: 10sts on each Leg.
BODY
Row 1 (Joining row): Knit across both Legs with first ball
of yarn; cut yarn on unused ball: 40sts.
Rows 2-20: Knit across.
EAR (Make 2)
With large size needles, Gold, and leaving a long end for
sewing, cast on 10 sts.
Row 1: Increase in each st across: 20sts.
Rows 2-4: Knit across.
BODY
Change to large size needles.
ASSEMBLY
Weave yarn end through cast on sts on Leg and gather
tightly; sew Leg seam. Stuff Leg with polyester fiberfill.
HEM
Change to small size needles.
LEFT STRAP
With right side facing, Green, and using small size
needles, skip 2sts from back seam, pick up 5sts.
JUMPER
NECK RIBBING
With small size needles and Red, cast on 46sts loosely.
RAGLAN SHAPING
Change to large size needles.
BIB
With small size needles and Green, cast on 20sts loosely.
Row 7: Increase, (P1, K1) across to last st, increase: 22sts.
Row 9: Increase, (K1, P1) across to last st, increase: 24sts.
WAISTBAND
Rows 1 and 2: Add on 12 sts loosely; (K1, P1) across:
48sts.
Rows 3-6: (K1, P1) across.
