1. The theoretical pressure is lesser than the measured pressure.

the theory under-predict the wall pressure.

One of the possible reasons for the difference could be the
location of the sensor relative to the shock. It has been
found that the location of sensor relative to the shock has a
significant impact on the measured pressure.
One other reason for this could be the effect of sensor
ringing, a phenomenon, which happens when the shock
wave strike causes vibrations. It can be seen as a boost in
pressure as in the case of the experimental results.
Measured static pressure is dependent on Reynolds
number. Therefore, boundary layer separation and shockboundary layer interaction along the pressure sensor
results in measurement non-linearity.
Pressure measurements are also affected by the flow
turbulence.
3. Due to the theoretical pressure being lower than the measured
pressure, the Mach number and temperature obtained from the
theoretical calculation is higher than the ones calculated from
the measured pressure.
