Being prepared for the test, knowing what will be on the test,
Knowing how to answer the questions.

What is characteristic of learning?
Teaching is a characteristic of learning because when you
actually know something is when you can teach it to
someone else.

What are strategies?
Strategies are ways to help you understand a text.

Describe a strategy to use BEFORE reading the text
book?
Skimming, asking questions about the heading and titles.

Describe a strategy to use DURING reading the text
book?
Highlight key point, highlighting the answers to the
questions that was asked. Make margin notes on what that
section of the article is about.

Describe a strategy to use AFTER reading the text
book?
Immediate recall, explain everything that happened in the
passage. Go over each question and answer.

your confidence? How?
Yes, it does effect because it makes me more confident on
what I am reading.

Yes, because it makes it easier to read, and if I know it will be
easier to understand and comprehend I will be more
motivated because I know I can do it.

Yes, I have gained more confident on things I am learning.

I would like to change my focus, not getting distracted easily.

Focused reading strategy has worked best for me because it
gave me a reason to read, something to look for.

HIT strategy because I didnt know exactly what to look for in
the article for Ideas.

I would like to learn more strategies and use them on
everything I read.

Try all strategies, dont just think I cant learn that way. Test
it out.
