Nutrition Assistant
Interacted with critically ill and mentally ill patients by taking diet orders based on dietary restrictions. Facilitated and organized tray line services. Prepared patients trays based on specific needs. Identified different diets
such as; low sodium, diabetic, clear liquids, full liquids, pured, chopped, GI soft, renal, etc. Prepared tube feedings and supplements for patients. Created meal patterns by calculating and distributing calories and carbohydrates based on clients needs. Distributed and collected meals and snacks to patients rooms. Communicated
effectively with Registered Dietitians, Foodservice Managers, Chefs, Nurses, Doctors, and other Nutrition Assistants. Served breakfast to PHP clients at an offsite location (approximately 30 clients). Modified and updated a 5week cycle menu. Cleaned and sanitized foodservice kitchen by following ServSafe guidelines and regulations.

One-On-One Basketball, Inc.
Coach
Responsible for students K-5th grade, teaching them the fundamentals of soccer and basketball (approximately 15
students). Created an up-to-date lesson plan/agenda each week. Communicated effectively with other coaches,
parents, administrators, and students. Fostered a culture of good sportsmanship and fairness by being a role
model. Motivated and encouraged students to do their best by being energetic and positive at all times.

Long Beach Farms
Volunteer
Volunteered with Long Beach Farms for approximately 25 hours. Generated and cultivated urban gardens
throughout the community of Long Beach. Participated in research on Genetically Modified Organisms. Created
a monthly newsletter on GMOs for the community. Promoted the benefits of urban farming by attending various
local farmers markets. Educated community members on the benefits of gardening.
