Rubric for 338: Creative Writing Assignment

This rubric has been developed for a creative writing assignment. This assignment was given to
students with these learning objectives in mind: I can write a narrative about a real or imagined
experience or event, I can establish a narrative through point of view, characterization, setting,
and dialogue, I can use word choice to aid in establishing narration, and I can create a rhythm
and flow throughout the narration that isnt confusing to the reader.
