to improve readability.

Modify the oil tank filler cap and gage assembly by roughening the surface of the gage.

Compliance
CATEGORY 3 - P&WC recommends to do this service bulletin when the engine is
disassembled and access is available to the necessary subassembly
(i.e. module, accessories, components or build groups) but not to
exceed 36 months from the date of issue of this service bulletin. Do all
spare subassemblies.

with the overhaul manual instructions except for the differences that follows:

v Ref. OHM PART 5 - DISASSEMBLY (For Engines PT6A-6/6A/6B/20/20A/20B).
v Ref. OHM 72-60-00 ACCESSORY GEARBOX - DISASSEMBLY (For Engines
PT6A-21/27/28).

Remove existing oil tank filler cap and gage assembly P/N 3004095, 3020908 or
3027112 from the engine and disassemble to remove gage P/N 3004096, 3020936 or
3028687 respectively, from filler cap. Rework gage:
(1)

C.

Abrasive blast graduated face of gage using zirconite 140, or equivalent to obtain
surface finish specified (Ref. Fig 1 ). Only blast the portion of the gage indicated on
the figure. Finish on opposite side of gage may be incomplete.

Install the parts listed under Old P/N in Para. 2.C., Material Information, in accordance
with the overhaul manual instructions except for the differences that follows:
