ROAD WORKS
Excavate down to prepare road formation level for
receiving road pavement, in all material other than
rocks and disposal off the
excavated materials
including compaction in accordance with the
specification.

Supply, deliver, lay and compact

to a compacted thickness of 50mm.

2.9.3

Supply, deliver, lay and compact for crusher run as

roadbase in two equal layer to a total compacted
thickness of
a) 200mm thk.

2.9.4

Supply, deliver and apply bituminous prime coal to

surface of the roadbase including cleaning of the
surface of the roadbase prior to the application of
bituminous prime coat.

2.9.5

Supply, deliver, lay and compact the asphaltic concrete

binder course to 50mm compacted thickness.

2.9.6

Supply, deliver, lay and compact the asphaltic concrete

wearing course to 40mm compacted thickness before
handling over to JBAS.(including application of tack
coat)

The Contractor shall set out below and folly describe in the space
provided (inserting the relevant clause number or reference)
and price any work or obligation or anything in the Conditions
of Contract or Specification not included by him in his rates
elsewhere and for which he considers a separate charge is
required The sum inserted in this Bill shall be considered to be
a fixed lump sum covering the whole of the works and as such
will riot be subjected to adjustment If the Contractor does not
make an allowance in the space provided below, then the rates
and prices inserted in the Bill hereafter shall be deemed to
cover all his/her obligations under the contract.
