Materials and Equipment: Student laptops with internet access and

chosen reading novel.

What 21st century technology was used in this performance task?

Internet based presentation
tool (Prezi) and 1:1 computer access with internet capability.
Differentiated instruction: The differentiated instruction for this lesson
will also be technology based. Students first of were able to choose their
preferred novel from a list of approved books. After the novel is read
(differentiated instruction here is using books on tape and screen readers)
they are then able to create their prezi with the necessary topics. Prezi will
allow ease of access and students who may have difficulty maneuvering the
website may partner up with a friend who has read the same novel.
