Why would terrorism be considered a world issue?

Some of the ignorant minds of our

world would ask such a thing. For one thing it has killed thousands of people and threatened the
security of thousands more. These regimes of barbarians must not be allowed to exist, for our
safety and for the safety of all. Terrorism is considered a world issue because of how it affects
so many people all across the globe.
The death toll is astonishing for some seemingly underfunded groups of mindless trolls.
Could you believe that from Al-Qaeda alone around 3,000 people were killed in the terrorist
attacks in the U.S. on September 11, 2001. Many more deaths have been taken by that very
same organization. If one organization can do that much harm imagine how much over 80
groups could do. Now granted Al-Qaeda is one of the most powerful groups, but still. Between
2006 and 2015 terrorism has caused 190,218 deaths. Take a moment for that to sink in, you
have maybe 5 people in your immediate family, a large public school has around 1,000
students. The number of deaths is 190 times larger than a large public school. Of course 0
incidents will never be achieved while protecting liberty, but where it is at now is unacceptable.

The families disrupted by terrorist groups are another area impacted. As of October, law
enforcement authorities knew of 250 Americans who had traveled or tried to travel to Syria or
Iraq to join ISIS fighters. And there are about 900 active investigations against ISIS
sympathizers in all 50 states. How huge is that, knowing our fellow brothers and sisters conspire
against us. Imagine if you had a son or daughter who joined these demons. That is only on the
american side of things. Over 3.3 million Iraqis have been forced to leave their home because of

terrorism. No nation can harbour the worlds population, so stopping these forces would keep
our safety and give the Iraqis their homes back.
This is why terrorism is such a prevalent concern. These people have committed violent
acts against the U.S., Europe, and the rest of the world. The U.N. must dispose of them with full
force. As far as Im concerned we are at war, and its time we start acting like it.
