JOINT AFFIDAVIT
We, WALTER POBLETE PRESTO and OLIEMPO BALUYOT GIRAY, both of
legal age, Filipino and residents of Cabulaloan, Lao-ang Northern
Samar, after having been duly sworn in accordance with law,
hereby deposes and state:
1. That we personally know Isabel Robis Francisco who was a
human rights violation victim committed on September 17,
1981 at Brgy. Yabyaban, lao-ang, Northern Samar; likewise,
we personally witnessed this incident as we are victims
ourselves.
2. That the human rights violations committed against said
victim were perpetrated by members of the 14th Infantry
Battalion who were stationed in Brgy. Yabyaban, lao-ang N.
Samar, on Sept. 15, 1981;

3. That on Sept. 17, 1981; that said perpetrators entered the

house of Isabel Robis Francisco, at that time we are outside
her house and saw the perpetrators poked their gun at the
victim, and asked about the whereabouts of members of the
NPA;
4. That same inquiries were asked to us by the perpetrators,
and point their guns, threatening to kill us if we wont
tell the whereabouts of the members of the NPA;
5. That we are executing this affidavit in order to attest to
the truthfulness and veracity of the foregoing statements
and in support of her claim for reparation and recognition
that her aforementioned relatives suffered during the
Martial Law period from the Human Rights Claims Board and
for whatever legal purpose this may serve.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, We hereby affixed our signatures this
