SALIENT FEATURES OF AEROMATIC WATER RING

VACUUM PUMP
Pumps can be offered for lower tip speed for any requirement for better
efficiency.
Control cone port angle selected basis on specific operating condition which
will reduce over compression & power.
Low water consumption
Since the control cone is cylindrical, control cone clearance does not require
any adjustment after assembly as side clearance in between rotor & control
cone is not all important and radial clearance is maintained even with a slight
axial shift in position of the rotor.
While in case of control plate (Teflon ball) design side clearance are required to
be adjusted at all time (initial assembly & at re-assembly) time also and it is to
be controlled with help of dial gauge at the time of assembly / re- assembly.
While in case of tapered control cone, it is very important to position the rotor
in the assembly such that proper clearance is maintained between the control
cone and the rotor. Slight axial shift in the rotor would lead to change in
clearance between rotor and control cone, causing deterioration in
performance of the pump.
Control cone clearance is not affected by small variation in axial length / axial
position of the rotor.
Ball / roller bearings on both sides are floating and have small axial movement
as in an electric motor.
Unloader valves are provided to get our any foreign solid particles like any
process fibers / pulp, which will increase life of the pump and decrease over all
maintenance.
Designed for lower maintenance, excellent service under harsh operating
condition for longer life.
A fitter who can maintain an electric motor can easily assemble the vacuum
pump. Spares are available at very reasonable price.
Performance test can be offered as per IS-10431 for any pump before dispatch.
All varieties of material of construction - Cast Iron, Stainless Steel 304 / 410 /
316, Bronze, S G Iron, etc. can be offered as per requirement.

There have been studies regarding the tip speed of the vacuum pump, its
power consumption and general service life. As per the above references, it is
clear that a pump will lower tip speed would have lower power consumption
and higher life.
