HSE PLAN
For

NEW COMPONENTS FACTORY

(AFIA JEDDAH)

Night Work Description:

ASIA night work will consist on
1. Backfilling Admin, Warehouse, UG Tanks & Silos
Equipments will be used:
1. Roller compactor
2. Excavators
3. Loaders
4. Back hoe
5. Skid Loader
2. Steel Erection Warehouse & Admin
Equipments will be used:
1. Mobile cranes
2. Forklifts
3. Scissor Lifts
4. Man Lifts
3. Concrete - Silos, Underground tank, Admin & Warehouse
& Annex Buildings
Equipments will be used:
1. Concrete Pump
2. Cement Mixer

Excavations Annex buildings

Equipments will be used:
1. Excavators
2. Loaders
3. Back hoe
4. Skid Loader
Rebar works Annex Buildings
Equipments will be used:
1. Mobile cranes
2. Forklifts

Timings:
Starting Time
Asia will start their activities at 8:30 pm
Break Time
All workers will get 01:30 hour break for Sahoor and 20 minutes
for each prayer (Isha & Fajar).
Ending Time:
Asia will end all its activities at 7:00 am

ASIA night work Plan:

Asia will provide lighting and apply all the necessary safety
procedures for night activities in the work place.
Illumination may be accomplished by using a combination of
Tower lights, floodlights, Portable lights or other lighting methods
that will provide the required necessary lighting intensity. Light
fixtures that are mounted on the construction equipment shall
have a secure connection to minimize vibration and ensure that
the view of the equipment operator is not obstructed.
In the event of any failure of the lighting system, the construction
operation will be discontinued until the required level of
illumination is restored.

ASIA Safety Management System for

Night work:
1. Asia safety staff will be present at site from the execution of
the activities till the end of activities.
2. Illuminate the work place where construction equipment,
workers on foot or both are present
3. Light sources will be positioned not to interfere with or impede
traffic in any direction and not cause glare for motorists or onto
adjacent properties whenever possible.
4. Workers on foot, performing work within a moving work space
(i.e. striping layout/installation, surveying, etc.)
Will wear
standard high visibility apparel and headwear and clear
glasses.
5. Signal light or amber light for Crane peak point.
6. Night work permit would be signed by the relevant authorities
before the starting of night activities.

Lifting Activities
1. All lifting equipment will work under sufficient lighting.
2. A strong flash light will be places with the booms of cranes.
3. The area where equipment will lift the material and the area
where place the material would be illuminated with proper
lights.
5. Asia will provide Banksman with lighting signals (Green light &
Red light)

for all lifting equipments.

ASIA Day work Plan:

All Non Muslim workers will work in day shift from 7 am to 12 pm
and one safety officer will see site safety.

HOUSEKEEPING
Asia will maintain good housekeeping at the worksite. Asia
housekeeping activities comprises of the following;
1. During the course of construction, form and scrap lumber with
protruding nails, and all other debris shall be kept cleared from
work areas and passageways in and around building or other
structures.
2. Combustible scrap shall be removed at regular intervals.
3. Materials will not be stored on runways, walkways, aisle, and
scaffolds in excess of immediate needs.
Rest all procedures will be followed as Asias
approved safety Plan.
