Thisguidelinegivestheprocedureformeasuringandstraighteningofcrankshafts.Ifacrankshaftmeetsthe
specificationsfoundinthisguideline,thenthecrankshaftcanbeexpectedperformnormallyuntilthenextoverhaul
whenthecrankshaftisusedagaininthesameapplication.
Somebentcrankshaftscanbeusedagainifthecrankshaftisproperlystraightened.Measuringthecrankshaft
carefullyisthefirststepinthesalvageprocedure.
