INTRODUCTION

The Libra Oil field is a large ultra-deep-water oil prospect located in the Santos Basin, about 230
km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro at a water depth of up to 2,500 m.
Production rights were awarded to a consortium led by Petrobras. In January 2014, Petrobras
issued an ITT for the supply of an Extended Well Test (EWT) to support the Libra development for
data acquisition.
Teekay and Odebrecht Oil & Gas have been awarded intend to bid for the supply of the EWT and
have engaged TP to support them in the development of the Topside Design. Genesis have
performed a Concept study.
The process plant on the EWT FPSO shall be capable of handling a maximum of 8000 Sm3/D of
liquids and 4,000,000 Sm3/D of gas.
The FPSO hull shall be a converted tanker that will be refurbished and modified in accordance
with an accepted Flag Administration.

SCOPE

This document covers all Topsides Piping Construction Standards to be used for FPSO LIBRA EWT
Detailed Design.
This document does not supersede the requirements of the Project Specifications as defined in the
Contract. For the avoidance of doubt in the case of conflict between this document and the requirements
of the Project Specifications, then the Project Specifications shall govern.

GENERAL NOTES

3.1 All materials of construction shall be in accordance Topsides Piping Material Specification document
no. OOGTK02-04-L-07-SA-001002-001.
3.2 The standards shall be read in conjunction with the following documents:
OOGTK02-04-I-87-XX-000004-001
OOGTK02-04-I-87-XX-000003-001

Instrument Hook Up Typical /Standard.

Instrument Hook-up drawings.

3.3 Branches in size range of DN20 to DN50 where a valve is mounted shall be assessed for bracing
back to the parent pipe. Bracing design shall be in accordance with Topsides Pipe Supports
Construction Standard document no. OOGTK02-04-L-07-SA-001010-001.
3.4 For pipe grounding detail, refer to OOGTK02-03-L-07-SA-000002-001 (JSPL Piping Construction
Standard).
