Transport
Public transport with busses, functioning on single tickets only (40 LEK),
to be paid directly (ONLY in LEK), as entering the bus to a responsible
person. There are no numbered lines, but instead named lines:
Unaza
Green busses making the ring of the city, stopping beside Lana River, 12 min from apartment.
Tirana e Re
White busses, stopping just in front Diplomat Hotel, 1-2 min from
apartment, reaching the center from Diplomati direction.
Kombinat-Kinostudio
Orange busses, 7 min from apartment, reaching the center, passing
north-south direction).
And many other bus lines covering the entire city

Albanian biggest seafood company. Near the city
center, Luigj Gurakuqi street.
Melograno
Expensive prices, 20-25 minutes by walking, near to
Foreign Ministry, 6 stops with Unaza.
Pizza
Pizzeria Saporita
5 min by walking, close to the Selman Stermasi Stadium; no. 4 at Fig 4.
Piceri Era
Normal prices, maybe traditional Albanian food could be ordered, 8
minutes by walking, in Blloku area; two stops with Tirana e Re and then
walk for two minutes; no. 6 at Fig 4)
Desserts
Buka Franceze
10 min by walking; three stops with Unaza.
Pasticeri International
15 minutes by walking, or exactly three stops with
Tirana e Re.
Mon Amour
Only to buy delicious desserts; near the center.
Food shopping
In Tirana you could easily find small shops in every corner to buy food and
water. However there are also big supermarkets, e.g. Conad (Fig. 4),
Carrefour, Bigmarket, KMY, EHV
Dajti Mountain
You could pick Kombinati-Kinostudio bus line (see Fig. 3), until its final
stop, and then walk 12 minutes, or wait for the lifts minibus, to the lift
station and then climb to the mountain, 1100 m, in about 12 minutes
with lift, the price of the round trip about 700 LEK. Or you could also
pick from city center (on the right side of the Mosque) LINZA-BUNKART
or Chateau Linza direct bus lines and then walk for 5-6 minutes to the
lift station.
BUNKART
A recent museum opened in a large secret bunker that Albania's
communist regime built in the 1970s to survive a nuclear bomb has been

From city center there is LINZA-BUNKART (on the right side of the
Mosque) direct bus line.
Petrela castle
Eastward of Tirana, to be reached only with private cars or taxi.
Blloku and behind Piramida area
With a lot of bars, clubs, pubs, live music and restaurants
Blloku area: 5-10 minutes by walking, or two-three stops with Unaza, or two-three stops
with Tirana e Re;
