INFORMATIVE PRESENTATION

Introduction:
Greet the audience
Introduce yourself
State your purpose: to inform the audience of the progress you have made
regarding your final project
Give your outline: do not include introduction, conclusion, reference list on
your outline. The content of the body is enough
Teaser is not required fort he informative presentation

Body:
Part 1: tell the audience what your final Project topic is and also include
your subtopics. Then explain why you chose this topic
Part 2: for each of your three sources a) mention the author b) summarize
your source in at least four sentences c) explain its relevance and say how
you plan to use it
Part 3: introduce one or two visuals and explain their relevance to your
topic and how you plan to use them
Part 4: tell the audience what else you plan to do regarding your final
Project i.e more research, interview et.

Conclusion:
Signal the end of your speech
Give a brief summary
Signal the reference list (should be in alphabetical order)
Invite questions
Concluding remark is not required for the informative presentation
