3rd INTERNATIONAL PLASTICS, RUBBER, CHEMICALS, PRINTING AND
PACKAGING INDUSTRY EXHIBITION 2016. It is only a befitting that the Sultanate of
Oman, one of the biggest players in the petrochemical industry, is the host nation for an
exhibition, which would become the regions biggest exhibition for the plastics, rubber,
chemicals, printing and packaging industry in the near future.
Over the last 45 years, under the visionary leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos
Bin Said, the Sultanate of Oman has taken great strides in the development of the
Omani industry. The growth rate achieved by Oman in the past few years has been quite
encouraging. The Petrochemical industry being one of the main components of the Omani
economy encouraging the downstream of Polypropylene and PET, this event will give a
great impetus to its further diversification and growth.

About Organization of Plastics Processors of India:
The Organization of Plastics Processors of India (OPPI) was established in 1984. As a
representative leading body Organization of Plastics Processors of India:
Presents members views in the proper perspective and creates a platform for
interaction with the government for formulation of progressive policies and good
manufacturing practices.
Provides appropriate inputs to the industry to enhance quality, productivity,
technology and workforce skills up-gradation.
Nearly, 45% of the processing of the polymers in India is done by the OPP members.
Functions of Organization of Plastics Processors of India:

Organization of Plastics Processors of India conducts member - centric activities /
programmes. The basic objective of all such activities is to help the members in their
lines of production and also help them in business development. Enlisted below are
some of the initiatives:
Conducts programmes on subjects relevant to the Plastic Processors.
Takes delegations to foreign countries to study the functioning of the processing
industry.
Regularly conducts need based seminars / workshops / lectures / meetings for its
members.
Interacts with the various governmental agencies both at the centre and at the state
levels and makes suggestions for the interventions in removing roadblocks for the

Our 'T' Rib PE Lining Sheets mainly being used for protecting concrete from corrosion. 'T'
