fromAdvocatesofnotlessthan7yearsstandingasonthelastdatefixedforthesubmission
ofapplicationforms,whomusthaveattainedtheageof35yearsandmustnothaveattained
the age of 45 years as on 01.01.2017. Age limit shall be higher by3 years in caseof
SC/ST/OBC candidates belonging to the State of U. P. only. There shall be 20%
horizontal reservation for women belonging to State of U.P. only. (Reservation for
SC/ST/OBC/WomencategorieswillbeapplicableforthecandidatesbelongingtoState
ofU.P.only)
The applicationshall befilled online (www.allahabadhighcourt.in) from19th May,
2016to18th June,2016till23:59hoursafterwhichthelinkwillbedisabled. Thehard
copyoftheOnlinesubmittedapplicationformmaybedownloaded/printedupto 23rdJune,
2016till23:59hours.
A PreliminaryExamination(objectivetype)willbeheldon31st th July,2016 at
Allahabad and only those candidates shall be called to appear in the Main Written
Examination who secure 45% or more marks in the Preliminary Examination, provided
candidatesnotmorethan20timesofnumberofvacanciescategorywisei.e.separatelyfor
General,ScheduledCastes,ScheduledTribesandOtherBackwardClassesshallbeadmittedto
theMainWrittenExamination.
Inadditiontosubmissionofonlineapplication,thedownloadedhardcopyofthe
applicationformalongwithrequireddocumentsasmentionedintheinstructionsareto
besubmittedasfollows:
(i)TheAdvocatespractisingwithintheStateofU.P.:beforetheDistrict&SessionsJudge
of the District or the Registrar General, High Court Allahabad, Senior Registrar, Lucknow
Bench, Lucknow, as the case may beafter obtaining requisiteforwarding on or before 3rd
July,2016
(ii)TheAdvocatespractisingoutsidetheStateofU.P.Thecandidatesshallobtainrequisite
forwardingbytheDistrictandSessionsJudgeoftheDistrict/RegistrarGeneral/Registrarofthe
HighCourts/SecretaryGeneraloftheSupremeCourtasthecasemaybe.Dulyfilledinand
forwardedapplicationformtobesentdirectlybythecandidatebyRegistered/SpeedPostto

reachonorbefore3rdJuly,2016.
