RE: LETTER OF DEMAND

I write you for and on behalf of my client, MRS. FE

BERNARDO MARA, Teacher III of Old Balara Elementary School.
This is in connection with the loan obtained by our client from
your company which was fully paid by Mrs. Mara on June 14, 2016. As
per record, Mrs. Mara already paid the amount of Two Hundred Forty
Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Eight 33/100 (247, 708.33) Pesos with
receipt no. 458150 A and stamp received by your office on the same date
June 14, 2016. However, it further appears from her payroll for the month
of June and July 2016 a monthly deduction for that particular loan despite
the fact that her obligation for that loan has been fully paid.
Further, on July 2015, Mrs. Mara made an oral demand to your
office asking for the total refund of deductions for the month of June and
July 2016. Your office however deposited only the refund for the month
of June 2016 but failed to deposit the refund for the month of July 2016.
Mrs. Mara made another oral demand but to no avail. Moreover, Mrs.
Mara likewise demanded for a certification of full payment of her
obligation but likewise to no avail.
I am giving you five (5) days from receipt of this demand letter
within which to refund the said amount deducted from her salary and
twenty 20% of such amount by way of attorneys fees. I am also giving
you the same period to issue a certificate of full payment considering that

her obligation to pay has already been fully complied with. Otherwise, we
shall file civil and criminal actions against you in court. You are advised
to make arrangements with Mrs. Mara or the undersigned immediately
upon receipt hereof. If after five (5) days from receipt hereof you will not
communicate or make arrangements with Mrs. Torres or with the
undersigned, I will immediately file the case against you.
I hope that you will give this matter your preferential attention to
obviate the possibility of having to face a case in court.
