A guide and tips for installing Adobe Creative Cloud 2015.
5 (June 2016 update) applications

with X-Force CC 2015 keygen
BEFORE DOING ANYTHING MAKE SURE TO CREATE A COMPLETE BACKUP OF YOUR HARD
DRIVE AND FILES YOU WILL BE REPLACING.
TESTED ON A CLEAN OS X 10.11.5 (EL CAPITAN) INSTALL WITH NO PREVIOUS ADOBE
APPLICATIONS INSTALLED.
USED US ENGLISH FOR BOTH SYSTEM AND ADOBE CREATIVE APPLICATIONS.
CANNOT CONFIRM IF THIS CAN BE DONE WITH PREVIOUS RELEASE(S) YOU ALREADY MAY
HAVE INSTALLED SIDE BY SIDE.
For convenience, I have used version 8 of Adobe Application Manager, but this should work
on version 9.0.0.100 and lower. I have also successfully used version 9.0.0.100 to register.
Besides SpeedGrade, all other applications activated successfully. It is essential to opt out for
which one you will use, as replacing AAM folder can break your applications. Reverting to
the same version you used to register should solve the issue.
1. Download Adobe Creative Cloud Installer:
https://ccmdls.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/KCCC/1/osx10/CreativeCloudInstaller.dm

2. Run the installer. It will download and install Adobe Creative Cloud Application.
3. In the menu bar click on CC app and sign in with an Adobe ID or create a new one.

4. Install all the applications you want using Creative Cloud Application. It is best to
install and activate all the applications at once. Do not start the trial period or open
the apps directly from CC App. It would be good to set application options at this
time and disable automatic startup under Preferences.
5. Download Adobe Application Manager 8.0.0.168:

.0 all.dmg
6. Disconnect from the Internet.
7. Make sure your /etc/hosts file does not contain any Adobe related entries
8. Go to /Applications/Utilities and rename Adobe Application Manager folder to
something else eg. Adobe Application ManagerV10
9. Install Adobe Application Manager 8 from ApplicationManager8.0_all.dmg file you
downloaded.

10. It should look something like this:
11. Start/Open an application eg. Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5 (I will use this as an
example. Procedure is the same for the rest of the CC applications that require
activation). You should get this window:
12. Click on Sign In Later button.

13. Then you will get this window where you click on License This Software button.
14. In next window click on Enter License Number button.
15. Enter Serial Number button and click Next button. Use X-Force Adobe CC 2015
keygen to generate the serial number for desired application.
16. After entering serial number and clicking on Next button, Photoshop will open
without a prompt to Activate. Close Photoshop and open it again. After starting
Photoshop, AAM should be triggered and you should get this window:
17. Click on Sign In Later, then you will get this window:
18. Click on Having trouble connecting to the internet?

19. This window will appear next
20. Click on Offline Activation, and this window will appear
21. Click on Generate Request Code

22. Use X-Force Adobe CC 2015 keygen to generate Response Code. Paste it and click on
Activate button.
23. Click on Close button. The application is now registered.
24. Block Adobe applications from phoning home either by:

- Using HOSTS file. The list of addresses that should be blocked is included with XForce keygen, or use a custom list and addresses you wish.
- Use a firewall such as LittleSnitch to block outgoing connections.
If you do not block the app(s) you will get License Revoked message.
This method should work with all the applications that require activation, even Muse and
Dreamweaver which previously required some special attention.
Activating with keygen should give you HEVC (H.265) encoder in Media Encoder.
Tips:
To prevent Adobe Creative Cloud application from starting you can do so (BEFORE
REGISTERING):

Click on the menu bar icon.

Click the gear icon.
Select Preferences
Uncheck Launch at login.
Note: The "Preferences" option does not appear until you log in to Creative Cloud.
Or after installation run this command from Terminal:

launchctl unload -w /Library/LaunchAgents/com.adobe.AdobeCreativeCloud.plist
To turn it back on:
launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/com.adobe.AdobeCreativeCloud.plist
This will unload most of Adobe services. You can also disable Core Sync service go to:
1. Go to System Preferences -> Extensinsions
2. Under All uncheck Core Sync Finder
3. Under Finder uncheck Core Sync Helper
This will make your Creative Cloud Files folder appear with a normal folder icon instead of
CC icon.
You can also completely uninstall it by using Creative Cloud Uninstaller:
1. /Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud/Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud
2. Or use Creative Cloud Uninstaller:

You can also disable Acrobat updates:
1. Open Acrobat
2. Acrobat Pro -> Preferences
3. Under Updater uncheck Automatically install updates
You can also control which services start by manually renaming/moving/removing Adobe
related .plist files from:
/Library/LaunchAgents/
/Library/LaunchDaemons/
~/Library/LaunchAgents
When you install Adobe Application Manager 8, checking for updates from Help menu will
invoke Adobe Application Manager and not Creative Cloud desktop app. However, you can
still launch it manually from: /Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud/Adobe Creative Cloud.
Example:
You will probably get this error after launching Character Animator Preview for the first
time:
Click OK button. On next launch it should read After Effects license and message will no
longer appear.
When checking for updates from Acrobat DC -> Help-> Check for Updates I get this error:
I am not sure if it due to server not being available, specific HOST entry or is it due to having
AAM 8. It worked earlier and I was able to apply latest Acrobat update (Continuous Release).
However, the application is working properly.
Warnings:
1. Renaming and reverting to original Adobe Application Update Manager (v10) in
Utilities folder might cause issues. It did for me.
2. When using original Application Aplication Manager installed with CC (before
applying Acrobat 2015.016.20045 update), it did not revoke license, but I had to
Force Quit applications upon exit. This does not happen when using AAM 8 used to
license
3. When using Adobe Application Manager after applying latest Acrobat update,
applications will not start. Acrobat updates AdobeGCClient inside AAM folder.
4. It is best to leave AAM 8 alone. It will not provide updates to CC 2015.5 apps though.
