Introduction
A resort is a place used for relaxation or recreation, attracting visitors for
holidays or vacations.

for all occasions such as weddings, birthdays, baptismal, anniversaries, debut and

The existing system of Puerto Paraiso Resort is manual; they dont use any
machine or computer for the recording of their transactions. They store the data
gathered from their guest in a simple notebook.
Statement of the problem
General Problem:
* A manual processing transaction for reservation.
Specific problem:
* There may be a tendency that records of the clients would be misplaced due
to obsolete storage.
* The costumers or clients might get hassled and would waste more time and
effort.
Objectives of the study
General Objective:
* To create an online reservation system to shorten the reservation
transactions.
Specific Objective:
* To create a database for records for each transaction.
* To bring convenience to the clients by saving their time and effort.
Significance of the study
The study could be of great help to the Resort, especially to the reservation
personnel. The customer would have a fast response of the online reservation
system. The previously stated problems encountered in use of manual system would
be addressed leveling the quality and standard of their work up, meeting the
costumers expectations and needs. These would boost their performance bringing
the competence on top of the pyramid and causing a constant and consistent
progress of the project.
Scope and Limitation
This study will focus only on the process of resort reservation system. It covers the
booking or registration of the guest, viewing of the resorts availability, changing and
cancelling reservation.
a. Booking or Registration
Filling up the ledger book for registration and reservation.
b. Viewing
View the availability of their rooms or any existing reservation.
c. Adding
Adding other services offered the guest desired to add.
d. Changing
If the guest adjust or change the date or any services they selected.
e. Cancelling
If the guest had change their mind and canceled their reservation or any
services they had selected.
