Thecharacteristicassignmentsscreeninthematerialspecificationappears.ThesystemdisplaysQMrelevantclasscharacteristicsfromthe
batchclassthathasbeenassignedtothismaterial.Themasterinspectioncharacteristicsthatwerelinkedtoclasscharacteristicswhenthe
masterinspectioncharacteristicswereprocessedareonlyshownwhenyoueditthematerialspecification.
Theindicator Reference issetasadefaultvalueforallcharacteristicassignmentsinthematerialspecification.Thismeansthatvalues(suchas
tolerances)aredynamicallytransferredtothematerialspecification.Ifthisindicatorisset,thefollowingcanoccur:
Ifthereisalinkbetweenamasterinspectioncharacteristicandaclasscharacteristicinthematerialspecification,thevalues(suchas
tolerances)arecopiedfromthebatchclassofthematerial.Entriescannotbemadeinthecorrespondingfieldsinthematerialspecification.
Ifthereisnolinkbetweenamasterinspectioncharacteristicandaclasscharacteristicinthematerialspecification,thevalues(suchas
tolerances)arecopiedfromthemasterinspectioncharacteristic.Entriescannotbemadeinthecorrespondingfieldsinthematerial
specification.

characteristic.

Youcanunlockoneorseveralmasterinspection
characteristics,tochangethespecifications.
Ifyouchangetheinspectionspecifications,these
newvaluesarethenstoredinthematerial
specificationforthematerial.Thechangesyou
makedirectlytothevaluesinthemaster
inspectioncharacteristicnolongeraffectthe
valuesinthematerialspecification.
Youcanonlycancelthereferenceformaster
inspectioncharacteristicsthatdonothavealink
toclasscharacteristicsofthebatchclassinthe
materialspecification.

Deleteanassignment

Selecttherequiredmasterinspection
characteristicandchoose Delete .
