Brief overview:

Mr. Ch Pavan Kumar is a Graduate Engineer holding B.tech degree in the field of
Electrical and Electronics Engineering passed out in 2009 from affiliated institute of JNTU.
I have 5yrs, 6months experience in Commissioning, Troubleshooting and Maintenance
field in various manufacturing industries like Paper and Pulp, Cement, Power and Steel.
Joined as a Maintenance Engineer in 2009 July in M/s The Sirpur Paper Mills Ltd.,
Telangana, then after I was been looking after Small and Medium Projects in the mill and
was a team member in Energy Conservation Cell (ERC).
In 2011 September, joined
Enmass O&M Services (A Commissioning and
Maintenance Contract Company) in the role of Assistant Engineer for Commissioning
activities of 2*30MW Power Plant and its Auxillaries for Client M/s Uttam Galva Steels
Ltd., Khopoli, under the guidance of Enmass team and Client team.
In 2012 August, joined MCK Kutty Pvt. Ltd (A renowned erector in Blast Furnace,
Power Plants and Maintenance Contract Company) as a Assistant Manager to
support for commissioning of electrical equipments related to 450M 3 Blast Furnace and
75M2 Sinter Plant for Client Sesa Sterlite Ltd., Goa (Formerly Known as SESA GOA
Ltd a subsidiary of VEDANTA RESOURCES) under the guidance of MCC Overseas
Ltd., China (Supplier of Steel Plant).
In 2014 September, joined Vijay Anand Kraft Paper Mills Ltd., Hyderabad as
Manager (Maintenance and Projects).
Over a period of last five years, I have gained and acquired skill in Commissioning,
Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Electrical and Control equipments of globally well
known manufacturers like Siemens, ABB, Bharath Bijlee, BHEL, L&T, Schneider, Alstom,
Danfoss, Yaskawa, Yokogawa, Kirloskar, Crompton Greaves, Areva, GE, Control Techniques
etc.
Performing and undertaking non-destructive testing, pre commissioning and
commissioning procedures complying with standard and manufacturer norms to put the
equipment under service and ensuring its reliability and availability upto its scheduled
periodic maintenance. Timely conducting health checkup of all electrical and control
equipment by performing Condition Based Maintenance to ensure its service and
maintenance activity. Adapting newer technologies to increase plant and equipment
availability and reliability and to decrease energy consumption. Focusing on breakdowns
and drawing out root cause analysis and rectifying commissioning and maintenance

defects if any. Duly monitoring all electrical and instrumentation control equipment for
abnormality and bringing all equipments under single monitoring roof. My area of
expertise is published in successive attachments.

Job Responsibilities
1) Planning for Preventive maintenance and taking up the maintenance of
Electrical equipment as per schedule.
2) Root Cause analysis of Break downs and taking Corrective and Preventive
action for the same.
3) Monitor overall status of plant and summaries activities in log book, fill daily
plant status report and relay all activities that occurred during shift.
4) Performing functions of troubleshooting & breakdown/ preventive/ shutdown
maintenance for bringing down process control instruments downtime to a
minimum level.
5) Coordinate with other department activities that are related to plant
operation during shift.
6) Preparing maintenance schedules and conducting regular tests to ensure the
performance capacity of various process control equipments.
