He/she shall pay six monthly retention fee of Rs. 225/- every six months for retaining his/her
name on the register of research students, the payment of six monthly retention fee are 15 th
January and 15th July every year, Failure to remit the retention fee within the schedule date shall
be charged late fee Rs. 25/- for each term.
c.
The course work is compulsory and it will be treated as pre-Ph.D. preparation. Completion
Report of the course work shall be submitted to the Ph.D. Cell by the Guide through the
Head, of the Department of the Place of Research;
d.
That you shall submit to the Controller of Examinations through the Head, Place of Research
and the guide the progress report of your research after every six months. If you fail to submit
three reports consecutively, your registration may be cancelled by Research and Recognition
Committee on the recommendations of the guide and of Head of Place of Research.

Your date of registration will be subject to the fulfillment of the following requirements
within 30 days from the receipt of this letter.
1)
that you shall submit an undertaking from your guide/co-guide stating that he/she shall not
have more than 8 registered Ph.D. candidates in the capacity as guide/co-guide (In
prescribed form).
2)
that you shall be solely responsible for the authenticity of the information and document
submitted by you for claiming the exemptions from Ph.D. Entrance Test . In the event it is
noticed that exemption was claimed on the basis of misleading/ false /incorrect information,
the registration would be liable to be cancelled.
3)
that you shall submit the letter of approval/renewal of approval of place of research The
registration is subject to the approval of place of research and in the event the place of
research would be not be approved till the date of submission of thesis, you would not be
permitted to submit the thesis.
In addition to above, the candidate shall follow the instructions as mentioned below :
a.
He/she shall submit his original qualifying degree certificate which shall be returned to him
after verification;
b.
He/she shall pay six monthly retention fee of Rs. 225/- every six months for retaining his/her
name on the register of research students, the payment of six monthly retention fee are 15 th
January and 15th July every year, Failure to remit the retention fee within the schedule date shall
be charged late fee Rs. 25/- for each term.
c.
The course work is compulsory and it will be treated as pre-Ph.D. preparation. Completion
Report of the course work shall be submitted to the Ph.D. Cell by the Guide through the
Head, of the Department of the Place of Research;
d.
That you shall submit to the Controller of Examinations through the Head, Place of Research
and the guide the progress report of your research after every six months. If you fail to submit
three reports consecutively, your registration may be cancelled by Research and Recognition
Committee on the recommendations of the guide and of Head of Place of Research.
