1.Students must be courteous and respectful of both staff and other students at all times while attending
Tongwon University. 2. Students must listen to and follow the directions of all staff members. 3. Students
must attend scheduled classes on time. Students are not permitted to leave a class unless given
permission to do so by a lecturer. 4.During classes, students are not allowed to disrupt the class or other
students in any way. 5.During the tutorial periods, students must do the work assigned. Listening to music
and the use of computer chat program are not allowed during the class. Playing games is not allowed at
any time. 6.No food or drink is allowed in the classrooms or computer laboratories. 7.No offensive
language is allowed at any time by students at TONGWON UNIVERSITY. 8.No running, fighting, shouting
or otherwise disruptive behaviors are allowed. 9.Students are not allowed to use the equipments or
properties of other students and staff including computers and computer files. Any student found logging
into the computer network of another student will face the expulsion from TONGWON UNIVERSITY. 10.No
software is allowed to be installed on computers by any students unless directed to do so by a lecturer.
No passwords are to be set on any computers at anytime. 11.When using the Internet, students are not
allowed to retrieve or view any files which may contain pornographic, violent or racist materials or
materials which may be offensive and harmful to other students or staff. 12. The internet is to be used as
an aid for the education only. No files are to be downloaded without the permission of a lecturer. any
education files which you may require will be downloaded and provided by staff. any student caught
abusing the use of the internet will have their internet access suspended without warning 13.No student

is allowed to transfer to other university during the period of language study stated on the offer
letter. 14. If a student wants to transfer to other university during the period of degree course
study stated in the offer, the scholarships awarded must be refunded and submit an acceptance
letter issued by another university for approval. TONGWON UNIVERSITY reserves the right not to
approve the transfer. 15.During the application process, if any fake documents are found, the
fees paid by the student are not refunded. 16.It is required to pay the fee if students choose to
stay on the dormitory during the vacation. 17.During the first semester at TONGWON
UNIVERSITY, students are not allowed to work. After 6 months, students can work 20 hours per
week at maximum, but be aware that the part-time work is quite limited. It is competitive
and low-earning. Students cannot rely on the part-time income to support themselves financially.
18.Students might be having some problems with Korean food, which must be overcome by
themselves. 19.Students must officially meet the language proficiency entry criteria before
advancing to the degree courses. 20. Offering of any Tongwon University Courses is subject to
change at any time. 21.Student Health Insurance does not cover 100% and therefore, the student
is responsible for paying the remaining balance. 22.Upon the first arrival at TONGWON
UNIVERSITY, the student must surrender the passport to the chief Officer. TONGWON

UNIVERSITY keeps the passport to prevent the loss of the passport and AWOL (absence without
leave) for the period of attendance at TONGWON UNIVERSITY.
- When a student requests a passport, the student must summit an explanatory statement to the
chief officer at least one day before the use.
