Good morning ladies and gentlemen, the honorable speakers, the guests, and the participants
of this international conference.
Welcome to the 1st International Conference on Medicine and Health Sciences 2016. It is held
on Sapphire Ballroom, Aston Hotel Jember which is hosted by Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of
Dentistry, Faculty of Public Health, and School of Nursing University of Jember. We would like
to extend a very warm welcome to all of you.
My name is Amel and My name is Yoga. It is our pleasure to be Mistress and Master of

It would be delivered by 3 lecturers.

The first title of plenary lecture is Thyroid Cancer Risk Related to The Fukushima
Nuclear Accident would be delivered by Prof. Akiba Suminori, MD, Ph.D from

Kagoshima University, Japan.

The second title is Pharmacogenic Application for Clinical Use: Challenges and
Opportunities would be delivered by Prof. Zullies Ikawati, Apt., P.hD from Faculty of

Pharmacy, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia.

The third title is Quality Control of Pharmaceutical as well as Herbal Medicinal Products
to Assure Positive Therapeutic Outcome would be delivered by Prof. Dr. rer.nat.
