What is We Media Journalism?

We media journalism is a form pf grassroots journalism, this means

that it is made by the people for the people.
Technology has made it possible for people to access citizen journalism
easier so that their views can be shared.

Global Voices
The news is delivered in a clear concise way, it is distributed via videos
clips of the story at hand then some paragraphs containing the bulk of
information. This is good because it it the visual effluence is hard hitting and
interests the reader.
The stories on Global Voices are very different to those of the bbd or
The Sun. For example they cover stories on more small stories like,
Hibernating Bears and Iced Bilateral Cooperation: the New US-Russian
Relationship or Russia Remembers Slain Journalist Anna Politkovskaya,
Ten Years On. this means that they target more cultural issues rather than
trying to sell, sell, sell.
The language used on Global Voices is mainly colloquial with some
ambitious vocabulary. The articles are available in Africa, America, Asia,
Europe and The Middle East, this indicates that the news stories are available
to the world meaning that the stories can be shared.

VisionONtv
On visionONtv the news is delivered via videos. they use mainly
Youtube videos, some embed videos and social media. Their main audience
is Activists, partner groups e.g. charities and trade unions and the general
public. The stories are mainly on global the Government, the NHS and
Global news,mainly refugees.
The way the news is distributed is important because it will effedct the
audinece in different way, for example the language is formal, colloquial. this
is done to give the articles a sense of professionalism meaning that their
readers will feel that the article is more trust worth.
